Mrs.M and Mr. M
Her scarf is attached to the sweater. We wouldn't want her to lose the scarf!
And now the moment you've all been waiting for...our guests have arrived. I don't know if you can tell or not but the "bright" couple on the left is wearing lights.They have on Christmas pj's with tinsel sewn to their pant cuffs and shirt cuffs. Doesn't the couple on the right look festive?
No this was not planned. Maria {on the right} actually is such a fashionista that she didn't own anything ugly or Christmasy so I loaned her my Christmas tree headband that I've actually owned and worn with proud for years.
More fashion-forward friends. I love the black and hot pink sweater. {photo courtesy of Amazon.com}
After everybody socialized for awhile I brought out the Wii Rockband. Since we only have one controller and not so much a band but a guitar, Maria decided we needed the ED-9000 so she sent her man home to get it. Yes, it was that important for him to go get it! This is the "mother" of all Karaoke. You don't have a Karaoke unless you have this. I really want this for myself. This has over 2000 songs stored and it just hooks up to your tv! It really is amazing.The Morales Duo. Maybe they were singing "I've got you Babe."

Then the boys thought they could do better. I was really worried somebody would get hurt. When I looked in and saw Santa {my husband, BBD} playing the Rock Band guitar that wasn't hooked up, I thought I had seen it all. That was until I saw my husband, oh I mean Van Halen, on the floor laying on his back playing the guitar to "Jump."He explained to me that he was doing a solo and it "required him" to "feel the music."
Oh look, the Black Eyed Peas have joined us. They
really "lit up" the show.
Do you remember Bonnie Tyler's classic 80's song, "Total Eclipse of the Heart?" Nobody can sing it like Mr. L and me. We turned "Total Eclipse of the Heart" into an emotional duet. Can't you just "feel" it?
This post concludes our 1st Annual Christmas Party. Stay tuned to see pictures of Christmas 2010.

It looks like you had a great time, Norma Lee! I have a little bit of wine before I have people over ~ it untenses me. Then I usually drink water the rest of the night. The only major chaotic thing that happened that stands out right now is a BBQ we were having a few summers ago, and my hubby turned on the grill and we were out of propane. Who does that? Who doesn't check how much propane they have when they have a BBQ planned?!?
