This is the second part to our Christmas party. These are pictures from my dessert table. I wish that I had taken the time to take a picture of the table BEFORE everybody arrived.
This is my round kitchen table. I had a floor length black table cloth on the table and then this funky gold material that I bought at the Nutcracker Market. I filled one of my glass containers with ornaments and put it in the back for height. The brownies were placed on a gold charger and I set the charger on my Southern Living pedestal. To add color I tied ribbon around the pedestal. I wanted to add elevation to the table so I then placed books under the pedestal. Mrs. M's cookies were labeled with a picture frame, again to let our guests know what they're getting themselves into.
I would love to claim that I made the cake but I didn't. The candle was added for illumination. I placed the cake on a cake stand to add elevation and then just draped some red beaded garland.I love trays of candy. They can be used for any holiday and add whatever the "traditional" candy is for the season. All of these glass pieces were bought at Goodwill.
Of course I had to add a festive Santa to the dessert table.

Your dessert table looks scrumptious! I love that cake! I like the candy canes you have hanging out of the container on the candy tray. Nice assortment of desserts, too!
