I love Christmas. Seriously. I love everything about it. I love it so much that BBD and I hosted our 1st Annual Christmas party..the week before Thanksgiving. That's right! I didn't want to host it in December and then have our guests have to cancel all their other plans and Christmas parties so they could come to our party. {haha.} Our idea is that every year we will have a different party theme. This year we did the fun "Ugly Christmas Attire." I didn't want to limit their creativity in any way by just having an "ugly Christmas sweater" party. This is our invitation. I can't remember where I ordered them from..
{I edited personal information per witness protection program policy.}
We invited our closest friends for an evening of fun. Instead of trying to do "it all" we decided to go the catering route. I can't do the cooking {again, the joys of MS} and I didn't want BBD to have to do everything. We chose to do Italian cuisine.
Yes, those are disposable flatware and plates. Again...keeping it simple, keeping it real.
Another view. Wow, I really need to get some chafing dishes. I've got my eye on some...I'll post that later too. It's worth another post... they are so fabulous.

I used these picture frames to label the dishes so everybody would know what they were eating. I'll do a post on this later.
This was my centerpiece. As you can see, it's a hurricane vase with glass ornaments in it. I put the container in the middle of the wreath and put my sweet Santa in front of the arrangement. All of this sat on some sheer metallic fabric I got at Paul Michael's in Canton.Another view. Wow, I really need to get some chafing dishes. I've got my eye on some...I'll post that later too. It's worth another post... they are so fabulous.
Here's a sneak peek at my tree. Again...that'll be another post. I know I told you I would post about the frames, and the tree and I know I'm a tease, but gimme a break, I've been working on Christmas since October!! I have worked so hard and so long on this party, you know this is going to be a drawn out series of postings...

I noticed that I got a Save the date email but NOT the ACTUAL invite! I was thinking canceling my Colorado trip :) I even flow down and help you get ready....oh my feelings are HURT :) Love you
Well, at least let us know if you had fun! ; ) Absolutely, keeping it real ~ I'm using paper, plastic, whatever, for Christmas Eve at my house. I refuse to spend half the night cleaning up and loading/unloading the dishwasher. Bad enough I'll have to clean the house before!
What a cute idea. I would have loved to see the outfits people wore. Love the centerpiece. Can't wait to see your tree the sneak peak looks cute!
