Love me some corbels.

Do you just love Hobby Lobby sales? I do. {My husband is probably less thrilled.}There has been many times a time or two when I go there for 1 thing and come out with much more.Hey, it's 50%off! What's a girl to do?? Well, a few weeks ago they had such a sale. I loaded up Monkey and we went. I found corbels. How did Hobby Lobby know I needed them?? I had actually been looking for corbels but didn't want to take a second mortgage out on my home to buy them. These HL corbels were black. BBD took them outside and sprayed them for me. {He didn't know to take a picture of the before. We'll cut him some slack. This time.haha.}

This is them sprayed with Rustoleum Heirloom White.

They were too white for my liking. So I did what any girl would do. I listened to Whitney and Ashley at Shanty 2 Chic. {These girls do amazing things.}I did not take pictures of the "during stage" because I am VERY messy. And...I would get my camera all nasty. This is the easiest way to beautify! You literally just rub it on and rub it off! I cut up some old t-shirts and went to town with it!This is one project

This is BBD eagerly hanging the corbels for me. So sweet.

I just love architectural details. I paid $50 for the both of these and it was definitely worth it. If you are looking to buy corbels you want to take measurements. I did not do this but I got lucky. The corbels should fit within an inch of the width of the place you are putting them. They look great anywhere. The next place I would love to add them is underneath the bar in my kitchen. Hmmm...I wonder if I can do this before next week!
