This is them sprayed with Rustoleum Heirloom White.
They were too white for my liking. So I did what any girl would do. I listened to Whitney and Ashley at Shanty 2 Chic. {These girls do amazing things.}I did not take pictures of the "during stage" because I am VERY messy. And...I would get my camera all nasty. This is the easiest way to beautify! You literally just rub it on and rub it off! I cut up some old t-shirts and went to town with it!This is one project
where it doesn't matter if you are messy.
This is the before shot of where the corbel is going. Pardon the chairs. They are another project. Another post. I told you...I've been busy!
Same corner.
This is BBD eagerly hanging the corbels for me. So sweet.
I just love architectural details. I paid $50 for the both of these and it was definitely worth it. If you are looking to buy corbels you want to take measurements. I did not do this but I got lucky. The corbels should fit within an inch of the width of the place you are putting them. They look great anywhere. The next place I would love to add them is underneath the bar in my kitchen. Hmmm...I wonder if I can do this before next week!
On Monday I will be linking up with Susan for Metamorphosis Monday.
You'll see this Tuesday with Kimba.
And at
and at Jan's

I love corbels! We don't have a Hobby Lobby here, but I did win a gift certificate from Centsational Girl's blog and the place has brackets and corbels. I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for yet, but I think I'm going to go with brackets so I can do my version of the Ballard Designs cafe shelves.
Those corbels are beautiful! I love Hobby Lobby too!
The Corbels look very nice there...and I know what you mean about Hobby Lobby =)!! Thank you for visiting my blog and for following me! I did the same for you!
I love Corbels - yours look fantastic.
Great score on the corbels, they are spendy, but yours turned out gorgeous!
Oh, how rich these look. I love them.
Be a sweetie,

I may have to "borrow" your idea! Tonight I am sitting here looking at a perfect place for some. Thanks for the idea. Have a great week.

I am in love! They look wonderful. Good luck in the search for under the bar corbels.
That looks very nice! Now I'm going to look around and see if I can find a spot for them in my house.
This is lovely, what a wonderful idea.

@Cheap Chic Home. I love corbels, too, the more the merrier! I hadn't thought to put them in entryways like that. Nice.
Very pretty!I'll have to check out Hobby Lobby at some stage!:)
LOVE them! I have some I want to hang but wasn't exactly sure HOW to hang them! ??
Any suggestions?
You had real vision to add the corbels. It adds so much to the entry way. Great job!

Adding the glaze to the corbels really makes the detailing stand out. Good job!

WOW -- those are really outstanding. They add just that perfect touch! They were beautiful originally, but then when you added the glaze that really brought a whole other element to them. Really beautiful. Thank you for showing them at the Boardwalk Bragfest.
The corbels are lovely - they look fabulous in your entry way. I can't wait for the day Hobby Lobby decides to grace Seattle with a store!

Ohhh girl I love me some corbels too!
Your room looks so good and the red walls against the white molding is stunning. Your home looks so cozy and the antique work you did on the corbels was very creative.
Fun, fun.
